Technology Collaboration at Ontario CHCs
Time & Location
About the Event
Why IC 360? We have unique experience in understanding the requirements of CHC’s. One of our founding partners, Jeremy Irving managed Corporate Services at one of Ottawa’s CHC’s during his 10 years there. He has since moved into technology consulting with the goal of providing better IT services than he was seeing, with a focus on health and social services organizations.
We recognize an opportunity for CHC’s of Ontario to engage together in a collaborative initiative that will leverage your similar goals to do more with less. We are here to facilitate that with a group planning exercise, focused on creating a clear and structured approach to technology planning and policies.
We invite you to join our virtual event in January where we will share some of the areas we believe CHCs could work together to plan, develop and implement technology platforms and policies. We will introduce the Enterprise Architecture framework that CHC’s can use to map your technology activities directly to your community's health outcomes, with a focus on security and privacy.
Understanding the Concepts of:
- Enterprise Architecture (EA) – What is it and how does it apply to CHC’s
- IT Cybersecurity – How it ties into an EA
Areas for Cybersecurity which can be leveraged across all CHC:
- Staff Training
- Privacy Policies
- Incident Response Plan
